Hello, my property was built by westbury homes 6 yrs ago and at the time i was made aware of a covenant that was placed on the property that should i wish to change the exterior that i would have to contact westbury homes for their permission.
I am in the process of having a conservatory built which is small scale so does not need planning permission, however i was advised to contact Persimmon who took Westbury Homes over, can they really enforce the covenant?
Any help would be really appreciated

There's not much to enforce. They will give you permission.
Problem is if you don't have it when you come to sell you'll have to pay out for an insurance policy which can put some people off. Better to get it right, now.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
