Help - my desktop screen has slipped

Can anyone help, as i'm sure it is very simple to correct, but i just don't know how!
My main desktop screen seems to have 'slipped' down a bit and the 'Start' button and bottom toolbar have disappeared.
Does anyone know how i can fix this?

    move to the bottom of the screen, press your mouse button, and drag it up.
