my 9.5kw gives me a shower like a power shower..... 5 different settings on shower head
Well it depends what you mean by "power". Certainly you can get different spray patterns on the head, which are nothing to do with the power of the element. But the water flow rate at a particular temperature is solely down to the element power. Electric showers usually run with the element on flat out with the temperature being controlled by varying the flow rate. You notice the inadequacies of the shower in the winter, when the incoming water is that much colder, so you have to reduce the flow rate further for a particular shower temperature. It can help to lower the shower head - the water can cool a lot between leaving the head and hitting you, especially in the fine jets you tend to get with electric showers (because the flow is limited).Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
what i meant by 'power' was, my triton electric showers has as setting which sends the water out in a power shower type of jet......
but the water isnot from my hot water tank.....
perhaps i have the cold mains water turned up to high....?
or perhaps it feels like a power shower, due to having a bald head.....smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....
