Hi All
I am writing as I really need an advice what to do.
I am self employed beauty therapist only for the last 8 months.I must admit my income is very low and in this cirumstances I decided to suspend my business and find part time job as I want to go back and finish my MSc degree.
The only problem is I get some support from London borough to pay my rent.
I was wondering how much you need to earn yourself that they stop
your money benefit.
Thanks

I am not sure but you would need to contact your London Borough to explain the change in circumstances and tell them that you are now a student.0

It's not your income that will dictate whether you can continue to receive housing benefit but your education status, such as whether it's full time.
Most full time students cannot receive means tested benefits, such as HB, and those that can are usually disabled or lone parents. So is your planned course full or part time? Will you be receiving a bursary/grant or eligible for a student loan, for example?
