any idea what this noise is?

Ok bit vague I know but when I am turning left or even a left bend in the road, I can hear a low rattling noise near the front right wheel (sounds like somethings coming loose)
It's not quite a knocking noise and seems to be getting worse as in rattling longer.
The car is a ford focus with high mileage if that makes any difference. Would appreciate any ideas but I know its not much to go on and hard to guess without seeing it/ hearing noise.:)

Are the wheel-nuts on tight!?0

Posible bushes or drop links
Mine are starting to rattle now.
152k on my Laguna II thoughIf Adam and Eve were created first
.Does that mean we are all inbred0 -
Is it like a grating noise? Sometimes the metal back plate (or splash shield or whatever you want to call it) which is behind the brake disc can rub on the brake disc. My car used to always do this on left turns. Somedays it would be louder than others.0

Clever....I hope so!
Rossy...was thinking bushes myself, it has done 142k. Will have to stop ignoring it and investigate further, damn.
Its definately more rattly than grating. Thanks everyone0 -

My bets definately on the drop links or bushes
Common failures on high mileage cars

Hmm, yes, I now realise the poster stated 'whilst turning left' in his original post.0
