What do you think the deceased would have wanted?
And what would give the family comfort? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
hi, my dad just wanted something simple and we would like to be able to copy a couple of photos into it0

As far as I can remember an order of service for a funeral consists really of the words to the hymns that the family and / or the deceased has chosen.
If you're having a religious service, perhaps the vicar could help with this?
The nicest order of service I've seen for a funeral had a picture of the deceased on the front with her date of birth and death on it and then had more photos on the back cover with her and her children.

Your funeral director should be doing that as part of the price for you, but usually its as the PP suggested, a pic of the person on the front with their name and DOB and DOD, the words to the hymns inside, and also possibly a favourite poem or quote of the person if they were known for it, with some pictures on the back of for example their wedding day or a family event - happy times. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

the above posters are right, but, it is really down to what you, the family want!0
