Poundland??

Poundland is okay, especially for things like retro games console stuff - cables and controllers I recall for all the old sega consoles and the N64 (as a collector I am always on the lookout for cheap controllers).
But...
Went in on Saturday and spotted some George from Asda branded baby bottles. Three for £1, so I got them. But when I took them out the box they were awful quality - the bottles were the thin soft plastic and the teats were so soft they were unuseable. Straight in the bin!! They must have been Asda rejects!0 -
Not always as cheap as you might think ... I've seen cleaning stuff in Poundland that's cheaper in Tesco's. Maybe only by a few pence, but by rounding items up to the pound mark, it's not always the bargain it might seem.:(
On the other hand though, there are plenty of bargains to be had ... their Aloe Vera loo rolls are great.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0
