Poundland really is a great place to get some excellent bargains. Especially things like SCART plugs or USB cables.

Yeah USB cable £1 - or optionally you can buy the exact same thing from PCworld for £14.99!!!!!!
  • Last week our local Poundland was selling Dulux paints (Once variety) in various colours for ....hey...guess what....A POUND!!

These tins are anything from £8.99 upwards in the local DIY stores....now if only I could decide where to paint 'nothern lights'...
Any fool can pay full price!!

Yep I got some of them and my hall now looks lovely! In fact I got a lot of little bits and pieces I needed for my decorating in there, much cheaper than elsewhere.

poundland is a bit hit and miss i think, although strangely seems to carry much better stock than the 99p store nearby....perhaps the penny makes the difference

I love the local Pound Shop...its not Poundland tho. As I live in the sticks, the nearest Pounland is probably 60 miles away.

Yesterday in the local £1 shop I bought 6 really nice bone china mugs, not the shaped curvy ones you usually see, the offer was buy 5 and get one free!! So paid £5.00. The type you can buy on the market for £2.99 each.
    Drinking coffee from one now......
