Sending Items To An APO Address.

I've just been asked if I ship to APO addresses. Does anyone know what's involved with sending to such an address, or do you just send it as if you are sending a normal Airmail package?

Means you have to send it with the post office, they weigh the package and they send it to the military post office.

Trouble is, it's the American Army (UK forces use BFPO), so can you send stuff through their system from outside the US?

Yes you can you just send it ordinary rate postage to the US and it will get to his address.

They are actually based in Antarctica and I must admit to getting a little thrill at the thought of posting something there.

I sent something to Afghanistan via a BFPO address the other week - got there amazingly quickly!
