Credit card repayment query

in Credit cards
I currently have a few credit cards nearly at the end of there 0% interest period however I have moved within the last year and changed jobs twice within a number of months.
I imagine this will make applying for a new 0% balance transfer card difficult.
With regards repayment paying just the minimum rather than the full balance or more than required would it ever have an effect on my credit rating.
I'm asking as I have the ability to pay that little bit extra if its going to help my credit rating and maybe help apply for a better deal in the future.
