Hello - can you advise?
I have BT home phone (inc Line Rental) which is Unlimited UK Evening & Weekend calls - this is £13.29 which includes line rental, an extra £5 for international unlimited calls and free caller ID & 1571 (answer machine service).
I also have O2 broadband which is the All Rounder Broadband at £17.36 per month (recently increased).
O2 called me yesterday and wondered did I want to renew with them for another 12 months and I would get first 3 months free. Also I have 30 days to change mind. So I said ok (had no problems with my broadband).
Then they asked if I wanted to take out a home phone with them - on the Anytime Package which is £7.66 for Line Rental then £5.11 for unlimited anytime calls UK, 600 minutes for international and 600 minutes for 0845/0870 calls. Also an extra £2.81 for caller display and answer service.
I have noticed as late we have been making more calls during day - so incurring extra charges on BT. We do phone America quite regularly.
BT would be £13.60 (or £120 for whole year) line rental, £16 per month for Anytime Calls & Broadband, and the extra £5 for international anytime calls.
So what is your advice/opinion - should I change over to BT for everything or O2 for everything - or even keep as I am seperate.
Thank you for reading my post.
