Anyway - I do understand lots of people don't mind the endless queues, the flights never departing on time, the rude staff - because the fares are generally cheaper.

Worst airline ever, even worse than RyanAir whose flights (we've probably used them about five times) always leave on time.

I trust you can quote the delay statistics for Easyjet? Your post seems to imply that they are 0%?

I was dreading reading this thinking "oh no, not another airline not to fly with" but while you seemed to have experienced very poor service on both occasions you mentioned (and I would also be extremely angry/upset with the service), surly those problems you mentioned are (or could be) experienced with most airlines/airports and do not form any real basis for "*Another* reason NEVER to fly with EasyJet"?

perhaps Easyjet have a forum where they post under the heading:

*Another* reason NEVER to book Dany!l II from the MSE forums.

Can you explain which part of your experience wouldn't happen with another airline ? They are all subject to delays and cancellations then dodging paying out as promised.

Your title should read "reasons not to use public transport".

Comparing EZ at an outstation vs LH at a hub isn't exactly fair. You'd see the opposition occuring with LH at an EZ hub.

I recently needed a last minute domestic flight, was quoted £370 with BA or £75 with EZ. Both the outbound and return flights were slightly ahead of schedule.

My experience is the opposite. I've flown EasyJet dozens of times and have never had a serious problem. I used to love Ryanair (I saw many parts of Europe for 1p each way thanks to them) but they have gone seriously downhill over the last few years as the squeeze passengers for every last penny.

I don't know why people get so obsessed by flights leaving on time - especially for a budget point to point airline. Punctuality is far down my list of priorities behind safety, price, comfort and service.

It sounds like you have been extremely unlucky to have had a suc a bad experience the only 2 times you've used them, a bit like lightning striking twice in the same place. Personally I slightly prefer Easyjet to Ryanair, I find their pricing clearer and more honest and friends said they were very good about flight refunds in the ash crisis.

I have had long delays the only time I flew with BA, presumably was just unlucky, but imagine that they are no more likely to be delayed than other airlines... a lot of it is down to good/bad luck on the day I think.

    So, to summarise:

    - easyJet cancelled your flight due to operational reasons.
    - easyJet said, book with another airline we'll pay.
    - easyJet are keeping their word on this and have stated they will pay you (there has been some sort of delay to this, but it will happen)

Why are you so angry? Ok, there has been a delay to them paying for your alternative Lufthansa flights, and you had to chase them up, but they are going to pay. Again, why so angry? You'd have had far more trouble from other airlines.

The rest of your complaints (waiting on buses, waiting in stairwells, no information etc) seem to relate to the ground handling at Munich; which must be pretty inefficient. These are probably not easyjet staff, just a contracted handling agent.
