Evening All,
First thread here!
I've just purchased a new car that has an Auxiliary connector for the stereo, so that you can connect an MP3 player to it, could anyone tell me what type of cable I'll need to connect the two?
I presume the cable connects into the headphone socket.
Cheers,
Simon.

The user manual for the fitted audio equipment should tell you this but yes basically you need a cable that will fit at both ends. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Hi Espresso,
Many thanks for the advice.
I have just consulted the Audio handbook, it says;Ford_Audio_Book wrote:To Connect an auxillarydevice, plug it into the AUX IN socket using a 3.5 mm conventional audio jack connector
So on that note, what type of cable do I require?

Albertross,
If that's a standard headphone socket, then yes - I think it will!
Thank you, I'll pop into Maplin's tomorrow and buy one!
