CC query - v old cards and banks cc

Options
I did a credit report last summer and noticed2 old cards (barclaycard and coop) I've not used for 5+ years with 0 balance on there.

I've written to them both and asked they were closed and had no reply.

Do I do another £2 report (will this affect my credit score?)

or call them and see what's happening.

I'm hoping in March to apply for a new 0% cc for a Bt and think as I bank with barclays barclaycard might be a good option - does it help to apply to your banks cc?

Tia.

A £2 credit report will not affect your rating in any way.
Write to them again, this time by recorded delivery. After a few days print off the online proof that the letter was delivered.
If you get no reply with 8 weeks then make a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman enclosing a COPY of the letter, proof of posting, and proof of delivery.
