External wall insulation will provide a number of positive benefits to the building occupants, EWI systems have a "thermal jacketing" effect that causes heat energy losses through the wall to be reduced. High levels of energy efficiency can be achieved over other forms of insulation resulting in savings on energy bills, an average semi detached house could save £400/£500 on fuel costs.
