New washing machine with bash in the side!

After being without a washing machine for nearly 2 weeks and being let down by Redhill Appliances who I had ordered a new one from, I had to go to Currys and pay the earth for a new one. I was desperate. There is only so much you can ask a friend to do. Anyway.
Got my friend to collect the brand new machine for me. When we have unwrapped it, there is a massive dent on the right hand side near the top edge. a sort of pushed in bash about 1/2 of the panel.
I really don't want the agro of trying to take it back as they only had one in stock. Will it affect my machine at all? is there anything on the right handside it could have damaged that may cause me problems?
I have taken a photo of it. I have plumbed it it. I really have so much washing to do. If I didn't I would be ringing them to collect it and wait for another.
If It will just be a cosmetic thing then its under a worktop, so that will be fine. But if I am going to have future problems because of it I need to know. It cost £340:eek:

I would not be accepting a bashed machine. I would have rung them and said change it. As you don't know how it came by this dent , as you said you don't know if it might have other damage.0

This happened to me a few years ago , we rang the shop I think it was Comet and asked the Manager to give us a discount.. he gave us £40 (they didn't even want to look at it) off and the machine works perfectly even now... if you have already plumbed it in and its working fine you could give it a try asking for a discount as I doubt they would take it back anyway if you have used it.....#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
