Morning all,
Moneypenny - Great job starting the thread :T I will read your challenge later but like Miss Piggy, the idea of giving up caffiene terrifies me :rotfl:
DNMS - Sorry to read about your car yesterday, I know it sucks to use almost everything you saved to repair it but it could be worse, you could be taking out more credit to pay for it.
Is anyone else actually a little bit worried about the forums being down on Saturday? This sounds so sad but to be honest, I think I am starting to rely on this thread to keep me on the straight & narrow! It's a perfect reminder of what I need to do still, & that I should be always conscious of what I'm spending, not too sure how Saturday will go if I don't have that...I will have to avoid all shops & keep busy somehow :rotfl:
Today I have/will:-- Finish up organising the accounts paperwork

Morning Peeps,
Was telling my OH last night about how well I was doing with my NSD and his response was well you shouldnt be spending anything all week anyway. Tried to explain to him that the bread in the middle of the week doesnt fly here itself and that when you go into MR T etc it can be quite tempting to buy extra food extra. Honestly men - wouldnt mind but he used to not think anything of spending £3 a day on lunch cos he was too lazy to make it with the food I had brought him.
Well today;- I am working from 10 till 6pm so wont be going out and spending a penny so NSD for me.
- Lunch - soup and slice of bread from cupboard.
- Find my Grandad cheaper house insurance - have a deal that if I can get it for the same rate or lower if I can do it through quidco I get the money in return for sorting it for him. At 80 he hasnt got a clue how to do it.
- Put washing on a quick wash
- No heating on today till at least 4pm, so extra layer in my chilly upstairs office
- Put log burner on to hopefully save putting on the central heating.
- Dry washing in front of log burner overnight
- dinner of meatballs, the remaining half a pack in the freezer and pasta.
- Do one letter to a creditor.
- fill out my driving licence renewal form ready to take to post office tomorrow.
- Sort out the dresses I found in the ironing cupboard and get them onto ebay towards a new dress for a weddin I have in May (ie one that fits.)
