If he is a business, the seller is obliged to give his returns postage policy. Only if he doesn't show it, is he obliged to pay it. If he does specificially say NO returns postage, then that is that.

Seller has to pay postage on faulty returns. It's only on change-of-mind returns that he can opt not to pay return postage.

Sorry, yes I omitted the obvious there. I didn't read the OP enough to understand. I took it that OP used the online code and didn't now need the game. Apols.

Listing stated 'standard' (which was usual 2-3 days after cleared payment). 6 days (5 postage) is over this.

I personally have only got to 3 days twice on sold listings

Next to 'standard' it should give you the number of days. This combines the postage and despatch times the seller gives.

Estimated 3-4 days which includes sellers dispatch (1-2 days) of cleared payment.
Gives you 2 days to get it posted and 2 for RM delivery. So 5th to 11th is 6 days (5 posting).

Time quoted is always business days, so am not sure where you are coming from by saying 6 days (5 posting).

The first day is the first business day after payment.

So from what you are saying (and you do not explain clearly) then if your payment cleared on 5th and it arrived on 11th, then that is 4 business days after cleared payment.

The first day, ie the 5th would make a 'same day despatch seller'. If he is 1-2 days of cleared payment, then as long as he sent it by the 7th he is fine.

Sunday isn't a business day for Royal Mail. Saturday is, hence the 6 days.
From eBay - Estimated delivery dates include seller's dispatch time. This isn't in addition.

I paid 5th (T+0).
Cleared patment 6th (T+1)
7th is T+2
8th is T+3
10th is T+4
11th is 5 business days (T+5).

Anyway, behind it all, I did say he actually posted it on the 10th (stamp says so on packet) so he was outside of his dispatch time along with the delivery. Royal Mail have 2 days grace on 1st class so they were nicely on time.

Oh for goodness sake. 8th is a SATURDAY, this is not classed as a business day even though Royal Mail deliver.
