5.2 Waiver of moral right of integrity
The Assignor irrevocably and unconditionally waives all moral rights in respect of the Works to which he may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 Section 80 and under any similar laws in force from time to time during the Term in any part of the Territory and the Assignor declares that this waiver shall operate in favour of the Assignee its licensees assigns and successors in title
Lose your copyright and 5% of, say £2.49 for a pack of cards isn't a lot.....would need to sell bucket loads...big bucketsNeil0 -
OOhhhh I have recently uploaded the boy with the boxer dog but it needs a better caption than the ones so far!!!!0

I have just joined and it's fun.Does anyone know how long it takes them to select a caption?0

If anyone is considering sending pictures to this site please remember that by doing so you are giving them copyright in the pictures. This means that they can sell your pictures to anyone and they keep the money, they are only offering you a small cut of what is sold from their site no mention of any payment from other sales. It means that you can no longer do very mutch with the picture, you cannot sell it, you cannot enter it into a competition, you could not even give a copy to a relative to put on their mantlepiece without the permission of spottedrichard and paying a fee to them if required.0

My captions were on site today. It looks like 24 hours before they put them up.I still don't know how longit takes to choose one0 -
Has anyone actually earned anything from this site?
They say that they sell their cards online, and through retail outlets, but if you click on the 'buy cards' tab in the website, there are only 16 cards shown.
They also say that these cards are a taster of what is to come - so are they not yet established?0 -
Any help! I submitted a caption a while back and forgot about it, but got an email today from them saying ....

I'm a little skeptical giving them my full name, address and contact details. None of the links in the email seem to take me anywhere other then the homepage as well....0 -
As I have said before I would not myself deal with any organisation that insisted on me giving them the copyright in anything that I submitted. I would also be wary of the original post as there is always a possibility that they might have some conection with the company so their claims to have been paid out may not be all that it seems.
I may be wrong but I do not think that they are after your details for any scam or fraud, they are the details anyone selling your material would ask for.
In the end it has to be your choice, do you feel that they are going to sell your caption and that you will make some money out of it?0 -
I gave them my real name, mobile and email address, however I used my university halls address (where I'm not listed on the electoral register or linked to on my credit rating), so there's not much they could do if they were scamming me.0
