Existing Barclays customers can take out a limited availability 9 month fixed rate savings bond at 5%. The minimum investment is £2k. Maximum £10k. Limited to one bond per customer but if you're a couple, you can take one in each name. It's easy to apply by phone & simply transfer funds from your existing account.
