Existing Barclays customers can take out a limited availability 9 month fixed rate savings bond at 5%. The minimum investment is £2k. Maximum £10k. Limited to one bond per customer but if you're a couple, you can take one in each name. It's easy to apply by phone & simply transfer funds from your existing account. Phone no is 0800 068 1177 open Monday-Friday 8.30-5.30 & sat 9-1.
