Google earth problem

My Oh tried to get onto google earth recently and couldn`t so I uninstalled and downloaded again .However it downloaded but we are getting error message saying cannot contact google earth server and asks to run diagnostic test but getting nowhere.HELP !!!!!:mad:

Assuming that you can access the internet Ok on that PC without problem, one possible cause could be a firewall - do you have a security suite which includes one?

The only other thing that might be relevant is if you have had virus problems in the past - many viruses try to hijack the network connection and when they are removed some networking functions can cease to work.

Depending on which version of Windows you have, a Repair Install may be worth a try.
