Hi,
I've just had a clearance camera delivered from Jessops - been having a play around with it and I do really like it. it doesn't have manual included but i can find that no bother online. the only mark i can see on the camera is on the back, the viewfinder screen. its got a little black area about the size of a little fingernail on the left of the screen (right at the edge where the screen meets the casing).
in your opinion, with normal snapshot use is this likely to get worse or stay as is? can i get a replacement screen fitted and is this expensive? just weighing up my options to see if its still a bargain with this slight defect.
thanks,

Hard to say if the black spot will get worse or not.
It is not work going to replacement screen as repair and spare charge is very high.0 -
I'd be straight on the phone to Jessops, if you can't see the whole image on the screen. Are you sure it is the screen that has the black mark on it, not the plastic surround? If you try and rub gently at it, does it look like it will budge?
If it is permanent damage to the screen on the back, it could mean the camera is prone to break in the future easier - e.g. a little knock that wouldn't damage the camera normally may crack/damage the screen. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.
