    I no longer have any of the paperwork from the 2 other previous. They were buy now pay later things... One through dixons and the other pc world. How do I go about getting these? Would I send a data protection letter with cheques and request copies of the agreements that I signed??

    Thanks

    Hiya

    How long ago was it when you taken these out?

    If you do online banking and still with the same bank where you were paying the direct debits, this should allow you to go back about 7 years online, the statements should show the account number of that actual loan next to the monthly repayments.

    If mis sold ppi, and just as long as you have the account numbers, then you can still make a reclaim on the ppi.
    You can do this just by completing the reclaming questionnaire, this replaced the template letter on this site, and send to whom set the accounts up in the first place, either their head office or complaints dept if they have one of these.

    You will find this here below on stage one of reclaiming;

    Keep copies of everything, like what you send and receive in case you need to go back to them again at some point.

    They have 8 weeks to give a decision, they may ask for more time, but will or should keep you well informed of the progress of your complaint.

    You can always request a Subject Access Request (SAR) for documentation on your loans, this is optional, there is a letter template on the link below, tweak to your requirements, and enclose £10 cheque or postal order, they have 40 calendar days to comply.

    You write your account number at the top of the SAR, if you still unable to find these, then give them as many details as you can remember, such as you full name/any different name you may have been under at the time you taken out the finance, addresses, and your date of birth, this will make it a little easier in order to track down your data.

    Hope this helps, good luck.;)
