Can anyone recommend a company to pre book with from the UK?

Found a price with Sharm Sinai Tours (£15) but not heard of them before.

If you do this make sure your travel insurance covers you for this activity.

    HI

many of the trips like this to the dessert in Sharm use sand buggies not quad bikes. When I asked why our rep said that lots of travel insurance policies don't cover quad biking but do cover the sand buggies which are basically the same with a roll cage for added safety. You still get a buzz. Quad bikes can be dangerous ... ask ozzie osbourne!

  • Hi

I went to Sharm last summer.

The best thing to do is to book it when your out there. Your hotel/holiday operator will try sell you these activities when you get there for an inflated price, but if you go down to the main area in Sharm (near pacha etc.) they'll be numerous companys trying to get your business on the streets.

We eventually paid around £8 each.
Just always remember to haggle, they dont take much persuading at all!
