Just want to say how pleased I am with the customer service of Simplehuman.

Bought one of their bins in B&Q about 18 months ago and found that the lid had started cracking around the hinges. Just on a whim I found their website and e mailed them explaining what had happened, what type of bin it was and where I purchased it. Next day I received a reply saying they were sending me a new lid in the post.!! :j

This duly arrived and we fitted it and am very pleased. The lid that broke was made of plastic and the replacement one was made of stainless steel that matched the bin so I expect they have had problems with this and that's why it was made of different material. But am very impressed with their service and let them know so in my reply to their e-mail.

Praise where it's due
