Hi please see my post today : (

    Hi,

I would like to apologise to all those who purchased from this company. I recently noticed that one of my purchases from this company has a typographical error on it.

The Family Life Book Diary (The little Pink Diary) has an incorrect date. On the 3rd November 2011, IT SAYS 13TH NOVEMBER.

The reason I noticed it, is because its my daughters birthday. So I was not happy with this. It will probably not bother anyone else. But for me its the principle and not a nice date to be replaced with.

I have just requested a full refund (with several phone calls) as this company were not very nice at all, especially the Manager, who was very unco-operative and made me feel like I was the one in the wrong!

He made me send back the page (or rather pages) at my expense for him to offer a refund! He wanted me to send back the whole diary, which I refused as it contained famiy and friends personal information and I did not want it getting lost in the post.
The manager then went on to call me this morning to argue with me for not returning the whole diary or more pages! That he told me to destroy the diary! (he did not). He was very rude and annoyed at me, for wanting a full refund.

I believe he is wrong and very unprofessional, as he knew that thousands of these diaries have now gone out with this error in them and they were still selling them at a reduced price of £5.00 due to a sale NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE FAULTY! As he admitted that several people had called in to inform them of such errors.

If anyone is unhappy, I can only offer for you to call them yourselves on 0845 644 7507 and ask for Kevin Sadler and request to get your money back, as you have been sold a faulty item.

    Once again my apologies

Thank OP. I just ordered my life diary. I buy one every year and had not got round to buying at Christmas like i usually do. Bargain at £6.50 delivered
  • i came across this thread when i saw Organised Mum in the title as i do like their products and have bought them in the past.

i came across a very similar company (K TWO) that are all about organising too . i bought their family calendar with a discount code a while back (not sure if there are any other codes floating about) and it is great. it has pockets for appointment cards and party invites and a column for each memebr of the family. i just checked and it looks like they are sold out but they have a school year calendar on sale for £1.99! the company is ktwoproducts.com

they have a diary too that some of you might like...it looks like it has pockets in it too? i didn't buy this though so not sure? bad thing is it isnt in the sale yet tho

Truthfully, I hadn't noticed but just looked at mine now and it does say the 13th instead of the 3rd. I've filled all mine in so can't be bothered with the hassle of returning it. Hope you manage to get your refund though.
