Mine arrived today and tbh I'm a little disappointed.
Ordered the family life book. I've always had the 'life book's before but haven't had one for a couple of years as work supplied with me a decent sized diary but they've now stopped.
The life books I've had before had a plastic cover but this is board which makes it a lot heavier for lugging around in your handbag. I usually keep mine on the work surface in the kitchen when I'm at home so a wipe clean cover was very useful.
And some of the pages aren't cut well so they're half hanging out of the book. Not a lot of them but I'd have been mighty miffed at full price.
  • Have just received an email to say they have now reduced ALL calendars and diaries to £5 if anyone is interested!!! This is as I'm sat here waiting for a calendar I ordered last week at £5.99 :)

    Xmas Saver!
If anyone has a Between the Lines shop in their town its worth a look in there, as I got a Life book with pink faux leather cover for £13.49 yesterday (half price). Was really lucky too as it had the pink cover which is the one I liked best!
:j Is MSE saving me money, or making me spend more on all the bargains?!:j

Thanks for that - just order one of the life books. Will be interesting to see if this forces me to be organised lol!! Currently have notes to self scribbled all over the chalk board in the kitchen so will see if this is a better method.

I chose the family book this time round as my kids are doing more stuff. But I have to say I prefer the life book.
I was hoping to do a budget each month so I can see what money we have going out. The life book has dedicated pages each month, the family one doesnt ( I thought it did). Ive still done my own budget in the notes section, but i wanted it all neat and laid out better. Otherwise I love both the books, and it has definently made me more organised last year.

Very disappointed with what I received... I ordered the weekly planner calendar. It was badly bashed, so must have been like that when packed by the seller as the postal packaging was fine. Within a day of hanging it, the 'plastic overlay sheet' curled up and keeps falling off. The plastic pen section also fell off, and I had to stick it back on with superglue. It's so heavy it keeps bringing down the adhesive hooks. I've given up and binned it. :-(
