Any recommendations on cheaper accommodation for Minneapolis and things to see and do during winter. Am there next week for 3 days so any activities to while away the time would be good

I've been to MSP several times now. I go for the shopping. It has the largest shopping mall in the usa, complete with its own rollercoaster, aquarium, cinemas, comedy club etc. If you google Mall of America you should find it. There are stacks of hotels close to the mall, which is not far from MSP airport either. If you like shopping, you'll have a great time. There are casinos nearby too, if that interests you. It will be very cold there at the moment, so indoor activities are a must really.
