I am on Fix Online 8 so no increase till July :D. Fix 2013 / 2014 is coming out at +33% for gas and +43% for elect over what I am paying at the moment . There is no cancellation fee with 2014 but £100 with 2013. I think I will stick at the moment and see what happens later in the year, £250 pa (over Save Online 5) is quite an expensive insurance policy

Maybe we should have a FixOnline 8 veterans club,
and turn up once a year on 1st July in the future,
to rememeber the last cheap deal in living memory.
Declare it a bank holiday, and the Queen should give a speech:

"Though I live in the warm comfort of Buckingham Palace, where I put in Ground source heating back in the twentieth century, because I am so clever, so should be running the country instead of these commoners, I am always mindful of my people, who are dying of pnuemonia every winter. ........."
  • Happy? - NOT! I get home at 7:30pm tonight to find that EON have sent me a letter, simply dated January 2011 (arrived Thursday 3rd Feb) telling me my prices were going up ... in less than 4.5 hours time!

I was under the impression this low-life practice was supposed to be being outlawed by January of this year ... but no! Looks like the energy companies can STILL get away with not even telling us mugs for up to 65 days AFTER they've already put the prices up.

    Get with it regulators.

We got the letter today that our prices are going up today....Typical they'd send it to us late...
  • Am I right in thinking then from previous emails that it is not a good idea to switch to Eons' Price Protection April 2014.
