I have an issue trying to connect to a remote server using Telnet where the connection seems to hang?
What I have tried...
CMD>telnet:>Open(IP Port)>"connecting to (IP)........
System overview:
OS:Windows7
Telnet Service:Running

HyperTerminal (Telnet and serial program) was removed in WIN7, but you can use the original makers last free version in win 7, here is the link to download it

Youwill need to provide a lot more info first, ie does the remote server allow inbound telnet connections? Is there a firewall between you and the server which may be blocking it? Does your PC have a valid route to the server?0
