Royal Mail parcel delay

Amazon dropped my parcel into RM on the 4th, and they still haven't delivered it :mad:

Since the 8th, it has been tracing as at my local DO: "The item is now ready for delivery."

Can I do anything to make them put it in a van and bring it round? I have been to see them but they say they can't help until a delivery has been attempted!

they must be in the shiz
for them to scan a tracked item then it should be out that day
must be a massive backlog

Never mind, they've now decided to fictitiously claim no one was home before 10 this morning, well seen there's no card to support their "attempt to deliver", only online tracking. At least I'll be able to collect it later/tomorrow.

Update: Visited the local delivery office, they have no idea where it is. It "might" be on a van as they cannot find it in the office.
