HELP! 'Shed' with people living in built against my wall - no PWA

That's all pretty standard stuff with planning departments. But I still need to know how long after you received notice from your neighbours did the work commence and did you raise any objections between the time you were given notice and the time work commenced?
It may have been a couple months after receiving notice and as I've said before I didn't raise objections.0 -
Purely in terms of the PWA, it's a bit late to start complaining now. If you still have the letter, show it to your surveyor. He/she will be able to tell you if they have complied to the terms of the notice and whether they have exceeded the agreed plans on their permission. That said, this is something that you should have done as soon as you received notice from them. Did you receive any notice from the council's planning department that your neighbours were going to be carrying out the work?It may have been a couple months after receiving notice and as I've said before I didn't raise objections.
When the woman at the planning department said that you were confused, what was she referring to?
The notice to commence work cannot be retrospective. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
'I feel vulnerable as a woman living on my own' Stop being pathetic and get a grip!!!
You were given a letter warning you about the upcoming build and you chose to ignore it, your own fault!
One thing however that might be in your favor, did the original plans that next door submitted to the council state that the shed will have people living in it? if not you will have a strong argument.0
