Nokia N8

Hello
I recently purchased a Nokia N8 on a two year contract in November with Phones 4 U online using T-mobile. However I seem to have trouble accessing the internet via the wifi. I have tried several wireless routers but keep getting the same message. "Invalid server name". I have contacted Nokia through email twice. Each reply give me a different solution into solving the problem but neither work.
My patience is wearing thin as I have never purchase anything but Nokias as I never had any problems before. Should I cut my loss and sell the phone and get an iphone? And if so can my sim card work?
Thanks

how do you try and connect? Do you go into settings then connectivity then scan for wlan?"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

That was one of the solutions they said to try. The other being was to reboot the phone by switching back to factory setting. All that did was me having to revert the phone back to way it was but I still get the same message. Even tried it in Starbucks using the BTopenzone which I never use.
The thing is even if it worked that way, it is a big hassle having to put in the key each time when I am using my mifi or home broadband.
Hence looking at the option of selling it and buying the iphone. Only reason why I didnt buy one in the first place was that this Nokia was suppose to just as good as it
Any help will be much appreciated.Wins in 2015

Sorry for the late reply but you only have to put your key in once from what i remember then get it to save it as your home location and then to default to that setting instead of always through your phone signal. And that way when your home you just click to connect to internet rather then going through the connectivity setting and it should locate and register automatically with yoru wifi at home.."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

thanks Jeff Bridge's hair but I already know that. The problem is that one of the solutions Nokia gave was to not save any destinations in the hope that by finding my home broadband each time then it should work. However this doesn't work.Wins in 2015

I've been using Nokia phones all my life but recently got an iPhone 4 - you don't realize what you are missing, this makes all the Nokia phones look like a joke toy, seriously.
However, regarding your wifi issue - call T-Mobile support from another phone, then ask for tech support and let them guide you through the wifi setup process.. they should try to help you troubleshoot it by trying different steps.Shin: a device for finding furniture in the dark.
