cheap brake pads ??????????

i own a mazda 323f se and im pretty sure that brake pads are going and the discs does any1 know of a place online or in kent that sells really cheap pads and discs as i can only find the
Pads £35
Discs £50
each front or back same pricethank you for your time reading my post all help would be greatly appreciated

  • Check ebay always buy my pads and discs from there much cheaper than most places.
    Just did a quick search, loads on there.

    eurocarparts.com is usually by far the cheapest place or like Ryanm198 said ebay is also good.

    Try to avoid getting cheap 'and nasty' as best you can. Cheap break pads/discs squeel like a piggy.

    Why people scrimp on the only thing that stops 1+ tonnes of metal is beyond me

    Budget tyres i can sort of understand but brakes? no way

    Yeah because having good brakes with rubbish tyres makes a big difference? :whistle: :whistle: :whistle:

    Even the cheapest brakes you can get will be enough to lock the wheels (i.e. more than enough stopping power), although they may squeal / fade easily.

    Budget tyres on the other hand...

  • be wary of the ones on ebay i bought some for my track car that were said to be grooves and cross drilled and they shattered

    turns out they were standard disc that had been machined and had grooves put in them. the drivers side disc shattered and across one of the machined groove inturn demolishing my caliper and wrecking may day

    I have used www.buypartsby.co.uk a few times.

    They stock Mintex and EBC mainly.

    Tyres don't offer hundreds of feet shorter stopping distances.

    I remember seeing a chinese copy Conti sport 3 and the chinese copy stopped 3 feet after the real conti.

    I could live with that tbh

    budgets aren't inferior in any way
