Against my better judgement I did this because of cashback from quidco,I usually go to Tescos a 5 minutes walk away

I have been overcharged by £5.65:mad: ,4 of the items have a sell by date for tomorrow I have wasted £1.50 on the phone because they will not answer it at 5p a minute I will never ever go to ASDA again. What can I do apart from blow my top:eek:

I ordered Rhubarb and they send a tin of peaches if I wanted peaches I would have ordered peaches.
please do not pick on me for my grammar,I left school at fifteen and worked in the building trade for 55years ,

  • Complain to Asda's customer service department and they'll probably send you some vouchers as a goodwill gesture. :)

  • I had similar issues with Asda home delivery over Christmas and the New Year - I asked for delivery at 9pm which was perfect for me, unfortunately some of the items had a use before date of that day! I always tick the 'no substitutes' checklist on my order, Ive ordered what Ive ordered because I want that! I shall only use this service again through necessity (as it was then, bad weather meant I couldnt get to our nearest supermarket 20 miles away). No use being the cheapest supermarket if we have to throw half the products away through not being fit for the purpose.
I don't know if I'm getting better or just used to the pain.
    Bipolar for all
  • I got an order last week from asda, two items were use by that date and a bag of potatoes were spolied so I rang up and the money for these items is being refunded, the lady was very helpful. I have had a delivery turn up half hour late before and when I rang they refunded my delivery charge. I have never had a problem with the customer services people.

I stopped ordering from Asda several years ago becauseI was fed up with incompleted orders or food with a rapid sell by date.
I now use Ocado and they have never ever been out of stock nor have they sent food close to going off.
In addition they are often the cheapest as I shop via mysupermarket.com
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

  • we have had the same with both online asda and tescos deliveries food nearly out of date or out of date and even frozen meat thats defrosted - my partner rang and they refunded all items we complained about then we cooked the food we could n made spaghetti bol etc so wasnt too bad but we no longer order online food now unless desparate and cant get outv which isnt often
definately worth complainin though - a bonus if you do get something from it
