Hi all.
Looking for the cheapest possible way to book a holiday to Sharm El Sheikh 15-25th august 2011, 2 adults, all inclusive.
was looking at the delta sharm resort, but only because we want the resort quite quiet, with more than one pool.
Never been before, would really appreciate some help.
cheapest i have found is through www.onthebeach.co.uk that comes in at £1,066.03 for the 2 of us.
(would be £1,049 butas am only looking at paying deposit now they dont give me the early booking discount)
kind regards

I've stayed at the Reef Oasis Blue Bay, it was lovely.
Do you realise how hot it will be in August!0 -
Beware 'cheap AI'
I would recommend you do some very throrough research into any accomodation you are considering (and OTB's apparent lack of customer service while you are at it!)0 -

Hotter than hot.
I was there in July & it was so hot we didn't do many trips & we like the heat.
Personally I would go in late September.0 -
Hi there,
Just wanted to say that I have spent the last two years in Sharm during the months of July and August and have not found it too hot at all. However, have spent a week in Luxor in June and that was definitely too hot and I do love the sun.
Would endorse advice to do your homework about where to stay and the location though.0 -
We stayed at the Delta Sharm last August.
Brief rundown......
The only complaint we had was in the second week and that was that the whole place (not just the Delta Sharm) were over run with Russians! Oh and it was Ramadam - but as that's a moveable event, you may not have the same issues we had.
The place has had an over hall - not long before we got there, the food was good and very varied and so much choice. There are lots of pools - we stayed in what some people called the new part - lovely large pool with three tiers and two smaller ones and a pool bar - it was literally 5m from our door to pool. Where we were, there was a lovely cool breeze - yes it was hot mid 40's each day, but it didn't feel like it when you were in the pool.
The family restaurant was large and airy and light although the restaurant that you had your lunch in was a bit naff and run down and the food wasn't particulary inspiring, but you can go there and buy an evening meal and the food was so different to the lunch - the pizzas were lovely and the steaks mmmm!
The staff we found to be helpful and friendly.
As I said, a brief overview if you want more details pm me!0 -
