New sink with push waste button

Hi,
We installed the new bathroom sink recently with the push waste button and
water drains extremely slow, it was OK with the old sink.
Does it mean that the sink was not installed correctly?
Thanks

Pull the plug up & you will see a screw that you can slightly undo on the bottom.

Use it to adjust the height & tighten up again.

    Hey presto, fixed.

If it doesnt solve it call them back in but most likely the 2 lever arms will need adjusting around the back.

I hate these plugs, even doing as you say to the max, it still takes ages to drain my bath which has one. I end up just lifting the plug out to drain it (kind of defeats the object of them though!)

What type of waste is it, klick klack, pop up or the rollover type?

Agreed. They are proper pants. I made the effort to replace all the ones we inherited with good ol plugs.
  • It's a pop-up waste. If we replace the waste, will we also need to change the tap?
    Thanks

I changed my pop up for a swivel. Its much better.
It spins like a penny in the hole.
  • Did you need to change the tap?

I don't think you would need to change the tap but obviously the mechanism for popping the waste would be disconnected so that part would become redundant.
