car insurance advice needed please

My husband has had his renewal notice come through and its gone up over £300. I've gone onto compare the market and moneysavingsupermarket but am having problems with the sites.

Moneysavingsupermarket - doesn't recognise the cars number plate and I cant find it in their list. Its nothing special - just a corsavan. They have normal corsas but no corsavans

Compare the market - doesn't like the occupation I put it. My husband is a recovery driver and the only options it gives me is 'recovery driver co-ordinator' which is rather different from an actual recovery driver. Even looking under just 'driver' doesn't give me anything close.

Neither sites will let me go any further! Any pointers please?

ok, I've got around the site not liking the occupation by putting down that he's a hgv driver (which I suppose it is)
