Hi
Could somebody please help me with advice.
Had an Ecar insurance policy which i cancelled and sent the certificated back by sspecial delivery which Ecar insurance confirm they got back on the 16th of November. They say they aim to refund in 30 days, however to date i have not had a refund. The amount is roughly £400
Each time i email them they say they will do it, or it has been passed on the the relavent department who will do it.
Could somebody please advise what is the best course of action to take to get this money back. I need this money asap.
thank you for your help

Write to them by recorded delivery insisting that the refund is made with interest at 8% from the date of cancellation until date refund processed or you will instigate court proceedings against them. You can take them to the small claims court, if you really wanted to.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
