Hi all,

Taking the family to a concert at the O2 on a Saturday and was wondering the best place to park without being ripped off !!

I have heard that the NCP Station Car Park or Car Park 2 are the best value places to park.

How easy is it to get into these car parks or will stewards stop you ?

Where are you coming from? I always park by West Ham station (free in local parking areas) and jump on the Jubilee Line for three stops. The car park is expensive and it takes ages to get away.

edit: it might even be two stops - I can't remember.
Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?

I would definitely just stop at West Ham then.

If stewards stop just say you are going for dinner or the cinema, they'll just wave you on. Check works on jubilee line if you do stop at west ham as has been a nightmare for a while but think it may have stopped.

If you use the NCP car park or the Council car park the ticket is only valid until midnight. Otherwise they will fine/clamp you (I can't remember what they do there). If your concert finishes before midnight then you'll have no problem.

Are you referring to the tube station car park at the O2 ?
Which council car park are you referring to ?

The "tube station car park" comprises 2 car parks - one run by NCP and one run by Greenwich Council. They are both separated from each other by a thin wire fence and to all intents and purposes it looks like the same car park.

Thanks. I am considering teh West Ham option so as to avoid the mad rush of cars out of the O2
