Kitchens - can you get doors and cabinets from different manufacturers?

I was wondering if I can get doors and drawer fronts from one of these sellers that do posh kitchens direct from manufacturer and put them with cheap cabinets from B&Q or Wickes. Would this work ok or is there a reason not to do this?

the only thing posh thing about "posh doors and cabinet sellers", is the price.
the actual cabinets are virtually the same. some of the better ones are a bit thicker.
but thats all. dont let anyone tell you otherwise.Get some gorm.0 -
The posher the company, the less likely they are to let you just buy doors.0

I needed a slimline intergrated dishwasher door. B&Q don't do one in the style i have (cream gloss slab) but screwfix do......and guess what? You can't just buy the door...have to spend £500! TYPICAL
