Hi, I'm hoping to set up a simple web site for a small business, can anybody suggest a free or cheap host that is reliable and not too many ads.

If you get a free Host (with free subdomain) go to https://www.freedomain.co.nr and get a .co.nr domain.

I've found https://www.122mb.com very good. Although it does have ads, they never seem to appear on my site and there are no pop-ups, pop-unders. Servers seem quite speedy.0

There's a lot of free or very cheap hosting companies. However most will cut you off or demand much larger fees if you have a lot of traffic (customers) visiting your webspace.0 -
You can sign up to beta test Microsoft Office Live which is a webspace for customers.0
