I am selling some rubber stamps on ebay and I have been asked if I would consider selling to Canada. My stamps are only worth about a pound or two and I dont have a paypal account because I dont wnat to pay more fees. How on earth would they pay me and is it worth the hassle?

In my opinion no it would be hard for you to take payment and too much
hassle not using Paypal. If you do decide you want want to sell abroad then
get back your ebay fees by adding them into your post and packaging like
most people do.A penny saved is a penny earned

Frankly for a few pounds I would just politely decline to sell to Canada. It just gets complicated selling overseas on a one off basis without paypal.
However, have you considered that there might be a big untapped market you have overlooked? One of my selling ids sells one range of items and 80% of that range goes overseas which is a good steady little income. Maybe you could check your item for completed items worldwide and see if it would pay you to operate a paypal account and sell worldwide. Worth a thought!
