I am having trouble updating the firmware on my CH-DVD 401 from WHSmiths. Just looked at the sticker on the bottom of the player and it is a CH-DVD 400 and the firmware version is DA82E2. Is this correct?

newbie here looked for one of these as my divx players is gettin on abit,didnt have any at leeds whiterose but they do have a cyberhome ch dvdr 1600 dvd recorder at £50 which is a bit of a bargain price i thought ,i didnt get one but they said they had plenty,found this link about em can be made region codeless
