To feed my cat or not?

Please note, I am not asking for "medical advice" as I don't really need any. My Nala has an upset tummy and has had diarrhea along with being sick a few times today. She's been whining a lot (I swear she's a teenager) and sleeping most of the day while drinking tons of water.

It's now her time for supper, should I feed her as normal or will it make her feel worse? What would you do?

Thanks :)

Just put a smaller amount of dry food, and extra drinking water. She may need a bit of food to replenish what she's lost, but just a very small amount.

Thanks, she's tucking in now :)

I tend to work on the assumption that cats won't eat if they're not feeling up to it (as opposed to the average dog who'll hoover up whatever's offered and it'll go straight down without even touching the sides) - so I would have done similar, small amount of something quite bland you know won't set her off and see how she goes. I know if mine's feeling rough around the edges she'll "pick" and almost moderate things herself (as opposed to now when it's resembling a Dyson on full hoover mode).

I'll add that stepping in cat sick in your bare feet while bleary eyed on a morning is one of the worst feelings in the world!

If Orbit (RIP) & Daisy ever get a bad tum,I normally give her a piece of poached chicken or fish with some of the poaching liqure (cooled down tho) & that seems to do the trick.
