    Success at last!!!

    Well kinda.

I got my 2 year old DGD a Fifi doll but all the other toys in my basket eother went back to full price or are "discontinued", so I got a Gok set instead :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: For myself not granddaughter:p Spent £15.50 saving £46.50

I went to our tiny local store at 9.45am and on the way passed a lady carrying 4 huge carrier bags of stuff so thought I was too late, but managed to get what I wanted which was Ted Baker Not So Dirty Stopout set x2. Also picked up 2 Chilli Pepper sets and an Elle set. Grand total £20, saving £60

May try having another look on the website as it seems to be getting a little better. Maybe.

Good luck all still trying, and my advice- use Paypal.

Sounds like the online shop has been a bit of a mare - I've never done an online shop for 75% at Boots before, have tried twice (once just now and once at 7am) to get on the site, nothing doing.

But I did my usual, 3 stores this morning (well, I peeked in another 2 lol) and got everything on my list apart from decent men's sets, couldn't find any of those. Haven't spent loads, kept to my list (then spent £13 in Claires on their 10 for £10 - again!). It seemed much quieter this year than last in the city centre stores, I didn't see anyone sweeping the shelves at all this morning, and there was still loads left at noon when I was coming home.

I'm beginning to feel sorry for Fearne - there are hatboxes galore in every store I've been in today! Lots of Strictly big sets too (both the tiered set and the dance case) and Weenicons. I fully expect to still see loads of them on the shelves on Saturday when I'm next in town.

  • Just had my order confirmed :D.

I found that if you clicked on either "View Basket" or the amount of items you could access it that way.

I was opening those pages in new tabs to avoid the main page coming up "temporarily being updated."
