I got some pefume sets at 75% off last year.

Maybe I was lucky that everything in my favourites went down to 75% off

when you say perfume sets do you mean what i call "proper " perfume sets not just the 3 for 2 stuff?

also anyone know if jewellery and clothes go to 75%?

also anyone have any info on stock levels at meadowhall sheffield please?

anyone spotted anything particularly good for teachers gifts that are likely to stay i stock long enough to buy online? i'm going to need 7 gifts this year - ouch!

what's with this tradition of buying teachers presents? makes those of us who can't afford it look really tight and makes our kids feel bad

Hi. Haven't been able to get into Shrewsbury retail park or town stores for a week, so don't know whether they've got more stock in or let more stock go. Can anyone enlighten me please?! :A Is it worth the after school and nursery rush to both stores, especially as I (genuinely) feel like death warmed up!? :( Thanks in advance :) Cathy.

Would also like to know this

About the Church street store it wouldnt surprise me if their was quite a bit left in their due to the xmas stuff being downstairs out of the way, Clayton square is the main store too. Might go tomorrow for a look if I dont manage to buy anything online.

Also anyone know what its like at aintree or speke store?

can't remember if baskets got emptied last year or not - got my stocked just in case

favourites - be careful if an item went out of stock and came back in it often shows as discontinued so when you try to add all your favourites using the button at the bottom if won't let you, you'll have to do them one by one very time consuming.
also when you add favourites to your basket they still stay in your favourites ( i've done this to check )
the wishlist can be used for items on the offchance they come back into stock

orders can be cancelled if they are found to be excessive ( a customer care staff member told me this today) so ordering too many of the one item, ordering too large an order can mean it will appear to go through but be cancelled later - so don't be greedy
They go through a vetting system once confirmed and your order history will be looked at as well as the current order volumes

also a customer care staff member confirmed the sale is going ahead in store and online tomorrow ( he said everyone wanted the day off when they found out as it is so hectic !!!)

No sure how order codes will work but if you call customer services after the order goes through and tell them you tried to use an order code they often give you the discount/extra points

not all toys go to 75% off last year the dream cottage and a few other things stayed at 50%

The sale always seems to be the 3rd wednesday after christmas ( for the last three years )by my reckoning so put the date in your diary next year to stop all the late nights
    9/1/2008 ( exception )
    22/1/2009
    20/1/2010
    19/1/2011
    from my order history

Last year I am almost sure the sale went live at 3 but i didn't get my order through until 5.43 due to that lovely genetic error

paypal is quicker than card payments to process but may cause problems when doing returns

Can't think of anything else and I am just expressing my opinion so don;t shoot me

    Hope this helps someone
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:
