Like some others here, whilst waiting for Boots to reduce their stock, I have been shopping elsewhere - the Body shop have had nice sets, and Crabtree and Evelyn have some gorgeous soaps reduced from £5 - totally overpriced - to £1.50 - which is good and your friends think you spend a fiver on them!!:j

I have now reviewed my list of stuff I would be interested in from the Boots 75% off online and am down to ONE thing....some of the other stuff I've seen in the shop and online I honestly wouldn't want if someone gave it to me so I'm not going to subject other people to having it as gifts!!!

PS -since I'm kind, I'll share with you that I popped into Harlow yesterday and they have LOADS of stuff left include Botanics bits, if anyone likes that sort of stuff. My purchases - NIL - join me on the No buying toiletries forum!! :T

Er, I'll swap, I would happily be going on holiday (esp somewhere hot!) this week instead of looking at the flipping Boots sale

They have only emptied baskets seemingly deliberately this time round, I have shopped the Boots sale for years and the OOTW's and the baskets have only started to be emptied at Christmas 2010 onwards.

They may be emptied due to website crashes however.

In reply to the basket emptying situation I think it's the luck of the draw as it has never happened to me but have read each year it happening to others .
I save all my items into both my favorites and my wish list as if you add everthing together from your wishlist to your basket in one go it deletes everything from your wish list and you have nothing stored if you need to order again but if you add all the items in your favorites you still have them stored in favorites

ive just been going through all the products preparing what i want in 75% sale. tried to add the fcuk sports bag to basket - says on the site that its in stock but when i click add it says:
"Unfortunately one or more of the items have been discontinued, so we are unable to process your request"
does this mean its now out of stock? cause it does still say in stock on the page

Why dont you try to start in Boots - they should then give you your sale purchases for nothing and free nappies, baby toiletries for life.

It was the same around this time last week, not allowing you to add anything to basket from the ½ price stuff. Shortly after there was a change in what was available at ½ price.
