Thanks for the replies. Just had an idea, does anyone mind if i post what i am making for tea at the bottom of my first daily post. Think this will help for meal planning as i can look back on it at the end of every week. So after a month i should be sorted. brush and hoover dog before letting it back n the house!?
Just picked up a very much smaller dog! We had asked for him to be groomed while in kennels. He looks like he's been shaved:eek: Going to be cold out in the snow for a while, but he won't be shedding much. Problem is, he just doesn't look right without his big mane.
Off for cup of tea before decluttering the freezer.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -

right here I go!Make £5 a day challenge - April

I've been to the post office, shop and GP (that was fun... 'might as well do your smear test while you're here, as its due in April'). So have been poked and prodded (and given detailed instructions as to how to find my cervix... apparently its difficult because I'm tall
) and told to go and have a blood test in the first 5 days of my next period... whenever it decides to turn up... Must remember to carry the test details with me everywhere so I can head off to the blood clinic when it finally arrives.
I'm generally feeling cross and grumpy because OH is still at his ex's trying to fix the heating and avoid having to fork out for a new boiler. And he never talks to me properly when he's there. Personally I'd rather pay for them to have a new boiler myself and avoid him spending so much time there, but he doesn't see that...
Still, I've got a PT session at the gym this morning, so I'd better get the kitchen cleared up before I go, and then the mess won't be looking at me when I get back!0 -

Hi everyone - and thanks to FCC as always.
I'm in for this week, but (perversely) don't want to start on the sitting room which actually looks OK....
The bathroom is completely wrecked after the weekend :eek: (don't ask) and I need - MUST - attend to that or I will go spare. Plus loads of other 'post-weekend fallout'. So my list is:
[STRIKE]* School run
* Sainsbury's
* Put food away
[/STRIKE]
* Strip chicken from bones
* Make Moroccan chicken with remains
* Make chick stock
* Make sandwiches for the freezer (DH lunch)
* Make a fat log for birds and hang
* Do all the washing up from last night :cool:
* Clean the bathroom :eek::eek::eek:
* Clean the loos
* Hang up the washing from overnight
* Unpack the dishwasher
* Complete savings transfer; do bank paperwork
* Check curr account
* Ring dentist
* Write back to work correspondents - need to acknowledge 5 letters
* Cover the garlic with netting
* Take compost to heap
Just finishing cup of tea, then on with the kitchen stuff...
