More protection paying by Visa or Paypal?

Hi,
I'm in the process of booking flights with Monarch airline. There are no booking fees at the moment if I pay by Paypal - so I'm tempted to pay this way. BUT would I get more protection if I pay by Visa if the comapny went out of business or for anything else?

How far in the future are the flights? Paypal protection requires claims within 45 days from payment. If the flight is further ahead than that you will have no protection.0

Monarch are by no means Goldtrail, Kiss Flights, XL etc.. I don't think you have any worries in terms of them failing.0

I paid for a holiday by credit card on the 15th July.. Goldtrail went bust on the 16th. So no holiday and I STILL haven`t got my flight money back yet. The credit card company aren`t interested because they say the CAA are dealing with it and they take ages!!0
